★ Congrats to Myself!
Tah-dah! Here comes Connie's blog! 🤣
So excited this is the first post on my brand-new blog!
Just moved here from Naver to make it more specialized in English grammar as well as subsequent English learning tips in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, all of which I believe need grammar as a foundation.
Planning to first post Grammar 101 content with the basics to help learners take an easy first step.
I know most learners have a hard time with grammar, even saying things like, 'Grammar is too difficult, and I hate English!' Haha!
I can imagine how frustrated you get without any helper. I'm no stranger to that because I used to be one of you. I'll never say it's easy enough to become a master in no time. Still, it saddens me that there might be so many learners out there who have given up before they could find English as fun as any other exciting activity, if only they had worked at it step by step with a good guide and then gotten used to it.
Nothing can beat the 'slow and steady' way of learning a foreign language. There's nothing like secrets or shortcuts. If you know of any, please, please let me know! I'm also a hungry learner and consider it a lifelong process. One sure thing I've learned after such a long journey of English learning is that grammar is made to be helpful, based on common sense or common agreement, not to confuse or frustrate us with tricky questions. We are all clumsy with every first attempt, but the first step we take makes the second, third, and many more possible.
I'm also taking my first step as a blogger just like all of you as learners. I was thinking of what I have for a blog before I decided to open it up and came up with a confident inner shouting, 'I love grammar and can't stop myself talking about grammar until someone stops me!' Haha! That was it and now I'm here with you guys. I've had enough of it and sharing is a pleasure to me.
I'm also taking my first step as a blogger, just like all of you as learners. I was thinking about what to share on my blog before I decided to open it up and came up with a confident inner shout, "I love grammar and can't keep myself from talking about it until someone stops me!" Haha! That was it, and now I'm here with you guys. I've had enough experience with it, and sharing is a pleasure for me.
We're all having a hard time under this terrifying coronavirus pandemic that we've never experienced before. Social distancing is a must, and seeing our friends in person is not usual anymore. In that sense, I hope my blogging will give you and me a good chance to communicate in a productive way. Wish us the best of luck!
bye~🙂!
