📰 A Helpless Life hit by the Coronavirus Pandemic
Even with the vaccines rolling out and people getting vaccinated, the reality of ours doesn't seem to move forwards. Lilli Rayne's story is another version of my own, indeed. I was struggling to keep my business going until the end of this June but the impact which the coronavirus gave was harsh enough to go under. It was grateful but one-off relief money didn't help as long as nobody knew when the pandemic would end. Unfortunately, it's going on, casting a bleak shadow over more and more people who are struggling and suffering from a variety of losses. How could we go on like this?
Starting the winter month of December, confirmed cases here in Korea, which was thought to be a relatively safe country, are on the rise, and the government doesn't seem to have had any vaccine in hand. I'm not sure about my slim hope for things getting better next year. The weirdest thing ever in the middle of the shock of the pandemic with nothing hopeful for the economy is that house prices are skyrocketing and even the stock market as good as it gets in spite of all the closedowns and unemployment. Can't believe what's going on in this world. Sometimes I have no choice but to force myself to admit that things could go the opposite way beyond my imagination.
It's still scary to face the reality of mine but all I have to do for today is just do what I can, hoping that I'll be able to greet a beam of light at the end of the dark tunnel one day.
